A Day in the Park with SSID!

Come share an afternoon full of fun at the Miller Spray Park (located in front of Miller Park Zoo) with ISU students! Water, snacks, and toys will be provided! It  is suggested that you wear comfortable clothes / shoes that  can get wet and bring a towel!

Vacation Bible School for Children on the Autism Spectrum and Their Sublings

2014 VBS-A: Vacation Bible School for Children on the Autism Spectrum and Their Siblings

The mission begins:

  • July 28th – August 1st, 5:00 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. at Eastview Christian Church, 1500 Airport Road, Normal, IL 61761.
  • Register before June 30, 2014 for a t-shirt
  • Cost is $15/child or $30/family maximum - dinner is included 

Discover, Decide, Defend

While investigating at Agency D3, kids will collect and log evidence about life of Jesus. 

As special agents, they will examine eyewitness reports, physical proof, and biblical accounts to uncover and defend the truth about how Jesus really is.

A Day in the Park with SSID!

SSID is hosting a day in the park with the families from the Autism Society.

We will be meeting by the Miller Park playground near the zoo to play games and have snacks. Parents are welcome to drop off their kids or stay. All ages and siblings are welcome.

Marcfirst Family Camp

Marcfirst will hold its very first camp Saturday, September 21 through Sunday, September 22. Camp will be held at East Bay Camp at Lake Bloomington. Family Camp Weekend is designed for middle school age children with an intellectual or developmental disability. Camp is for families – this includes parents, siblings or other individuals that form the students’ support system.

Camp is designed to provide entertainment, relaxation and exciting new activities for all children in the family and respite for the parents. Food, lodging, and activities are included in the price for camp.
